Although the park is beautiful, it is like one giant frat party. There is NO ONE patrolling around past quiet hours and each night we were kept up until 2-3 am thanks to the screaming, loud music, parties, drunken idiots, etc. They even had the ice cream truck blasting its music and going around until around 10:45 pm!! If you're looking to party at all hours of the night, then this is definitely the place for you. However, if you are looking to have a nice and relaxing camping trip with your family, then I would definitely look elsewhere. We will most certainly not be camping here again.
Had a great time camping with my son. Easy access to the water for my kayak. Really nice but poison ivy was out if control, if your sensitive be careful. There are signs posted but it was literaly everywhere.
GREAT FAMILY PLACE TO CAMP! Staff is all very nice too! Clean bathrooms are always a plus when camping and they are great about keeping them clean and the grounds well kept!!
The bathrooms and shower facilities are gross bring bleach or ammonia to clean before you use them..besides that peaceful great for family getaway
This is one of our more enjoyable places to visit on the island. It's close to home and yet feels far away. Facilities are some of the better ones we've been to. Bathrooms and showers are fairly clean for the amount if use they take, really no complaints there. Water hookups are provided for all sites, which is nice. Only drawback, hence the 4 stars is because I feel the sites can be a little close. They are good sized, but no privacy between.
