Back in its heydays, this must been a nice place to stay for summer weekend getaway. It's obvious that those days are long-since gone. This place is tired and very run down. Many reviews complain of Bed Bugs. If you want to stay out on the East end of Long Island for the weekend, make reservations somewhere else ahead of time.
I stayed here at a difficult time in my life.I had to literally sneak into the laundry room (which is the only place the maid spends time in,doing nothing)and steal CLEAN sheets. 2 years ago.The mattresses are at least 40 years old.The ajoining bed in my room had fresh blood all over it.Need I say more?The smell over the sheets and blankets was like a corpse.Dead rats on the lawn by the water,clearly from filth by owners.Please Please this "motel"is or was used as a shelter by DSS for people temporarily in need of a home.Complain to DSS regarding the unsanitary,unlawful conditions.I"had"to stay here years ago,due to a personal trauma,THIS place and a bloody mattress has traumatized me even more.No stars give me a breakOh 1 for the swans that had the nerve to swim by and make my stay brighter.

Everybody was nice enough. I appreciate this motel. They help ppl in a way...The cleaning lady is friendly and I like that. Younger woman during the day is very nice also....Thanks for being available to ppl in need
